Ori and the Blind Forest is a game developed by the hitherto unknown Moon Studios and published by Microsoft Studios last year (2015) for PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Your adventure is completely done in single-player mode and now this beautiful exploration and platform game has won a definitive edition. 3s93s

This very special treatment is justifiable since the game won the hearts of players. And Microsoft has also done more for the fans, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is not just a remastered version, but it's basically an expansion. The Definitive Edition brings new areas, difficulty options, and gameplay improvements.

We've added a ton of new content across all categories of the game, including new environments, new skills, new skills, new story elements, and new features. True to the original game, the two new areas – Black Root Burrows and Lost Grove – arrive with a unique theme in both graphical presentation and game mechanics.

[…] We want to make the Definitive Edition something of a celebration for our players and fans and welcome the journey we have taken from the beginning to the end of the development process. All these things make Ori very special. – Mark Coates, Executive Producer at Microsoft Studios, check out the interview on full.

Yesterday (9) Microsoft released the trailer for Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition, check it out below:

Ori and the Blind Forest in its definitive version hits the market for $19,99, but for those fans who already own Ori and the Blind Forest the update will cost $4,99. The Xbox One launch is March 11th. The bad news is that the PC version won't be released on the same date:

"But to make sure that everyone who plays Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition has a great experience on any platform, we're going to invest a little more time in the Windows Store and Steam versions. We will release the Xbox One version on March 11th and will update shortly when the other versions will be released. We can't wait to get the final version of the game into players' hands and see their reactions.".

We at Showmetech can't wait to get our hands on the definitive version of this beautiful, captivating and award-winning game either. And have you played? Are you going to play Ori?
