Founded in 2013, the Honor is a company of Chinese origin that was part of the HUAWEI conglomerate, but the separation took place in 2020. The company already has more than 200 million active devices worldwide and also has more than 13.000 employees working on various fronts for the launch of smartphones, tablets, notebooks and smartwatches.
Despite having existed for more than 10 years, the company is still studying Brazil to find out the best way to operate. According to company representatives, the Honor is still “probing and understanding the Brazilian market”, before finally starting operations here.
Although it is already present in more than 12 countries in Latin America, it considers Brazil to be a more complex country to operate in. For this reason, there is still no date or prediction to be given.

The model has variants in two colors (Black and Epi Green), in addition to being 8,9 mm thick and officially weighing 229 grams. Its OLED screen measures 6,8 inches and displays photos and videos in FHD+ resolution (1280 x 2800), in addition to having a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of 1600 nits.
The processor chosen was a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 eight cores, present in models of the year. O Honor Magic6 Pro it also hits the market with 512 GB of internal storage and 12 GB of RAM.
The Honor smartphone battery has a capacity of 5.600 mAh and the company promises that it will be active for a whole day. The phone s charging SuperCharge up to 20V/4A, compatible with 11V/6A,10V/4A, 10V/2,25A, 5V4,5A,9V/2A. An 80W power source is shipped in the box, but it will also be possible to wirelessly charge via pad at up to 66W.
The installed interface is Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14. The company refrained from talking about future updates, but the processor is capable of running at least Android 16, so it should be updated for at least two years.
The highlight is the periscope zoom camera that delivers photos in 180 SM, 2,5x optical zoom or 100x digital zoom, in addition to having an aperture of f/2.6 and OIS stabilizer for better videos. Speaking of which, it records content in 4K resolution, both through the rear cameras and the front lens.

The set of lenses on the rear is complemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide lens for capturing wider-angle photos. A 50 MP camera is also available on the front, but here there is a 3D sensor that can perform depth detection and can be used in facial recognition.
In addition to being a good option for recording everyday moments, the Honor confirms that the model has a system that detects movements so that photos have the best possible result, also tested in ten sports, including fencing.

Another model presented by Honor at its event is the foldable Honor Magic V2. It is extremely thin, just 9,9mm thick when folded, 4,7mm thick when opened and weighing just 231 grams. These dimensions make the device thinner than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, even when it is closed. And it will be released in just two colors: purple and black.
Regarding the displays, its external OLED screen measures 6,43 inches and has a 2376×1060 resolution, in addition to a 120Hz refresh rate. When the foldable smartphone Honor is open, you can see a 7,92-inch screen, also of the OLED type and the same refresh rate as the screen on the outside, but with a 2344×2156 resolution.
The processor chosen was Snapdragon 8 Gen2, available in models such as Galaxy s23 ultra. There are versions with 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage, but all variants have 16 GB of RAM. The interface chosen was Magic OS 7.2, based on Android 13.
There are two batteries that together have a capacity of 5.000 mAh, the largest in the foldable category. O Honor Magic V2 it also has for 66W fast charging and a power supply shipped in the box. Moving on to the cameras, Honor's foldable smartphone has a triple set of lenses on the rear, consisting of a 50 MP wide-angle main lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle secondary lens and another 20 MP telephoto lens. The company highlights that using the telephoto lens, it is possible to take great photos at zooms of up to 40x without distortions.

AI features that identify specific scenes are also available in this model and when the model is unfolded, a recording starts as soon as you place it half-folded.
