The new audiovisual production is in its initial stages, so the information published is still in its infancy and depends on the pace of collaboration between the two studios. In fact, CDPR is in the search phase for the screenwriter who will write the content of the plot.
Even so, the production already has a team from Anonymous content: the of the production company Garrett Kemble (head of television studios), David Levine (produced the series Burn Notice: Operation Miami, from 2008), Ryan Schwartz (directed the film The Last Summer, from 2016), Charlie Scully (in the production of the feature film The Sound of Silence, of 2019) and Bard Dorros (executive producer of the 3rd season of the series T e Paris attack, from 2019 and 2016, each) have already been cast to collaborate with the live-action.

The recording also takes place with the producer. In this sense, the CDPR confirmed that it will take advantage of Anonymous Content's studios, initially counting on its head of TV studios, Schwartz (who is also development director) and the producer of Burn Notice, who heads the creative sector — David Levine was previously executive vice president of HBO for more than 10 years, closely observing the production of series T, Westworld (2016-2022), and to be involved in the beginning of Game of Thrones (2011-2019). In addition CD PROJECT RED also indicated that he will the team responsible for creating the game in the production of the Cyberpunk 2077 series/film.

Other adaptations from the CD PROJEKT RED studio 3v1o4e

It's not the first time that the world of Cyberpunk has received some adaptation: after the game in 2020, the CDPR even released an anime on Netflix in 2022, which was also based on the game, called Cyberpunk: Mercenaries (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), produced in collaboration with the Studio Trigger. The anime tells the story of a child named David, who loses everything during a shootout and thus becomes a mercenary.

The studio also invested in other means to create adaptations. This year, CDPR launched the book Cyberpunk 2077: NO_COINCIDENCE (cover image above), written by Polish author Rafal Kosik, and is in the process of building a board game, which already has a name: Gangs of night city (following image). This month, the studio arrived with DLC phantom liberty, with special appearances — such as the actor Idris Elba — and selling millions of copies in the first week of release.
