In of RAM, the South Korean device has 2 GB more than Apple's, 8 GB versus 6 GB. In practice, this does not influence usability, as the Apple smartphone delivers a fluid and performant system even with less RAM capacity.

Still talking about software, the Galaxy S24 comes from the factory running Android 14, under the interface One UI 6.1 from Samsung. Already the iPhone 15 deliver the iOS 17. Big news for this year is that the Galaxy S24 line is guaranteed seven years of software updates (that is, it will be updated until the Android 21), matching the time already guaranteed by Apple for its smartphones.

Additionally, for the first time, the iPhone 15 can take portraits without having to switch to “Portrait” mode. But, if you buy the 45W charger, which is sold separately, the models charge from 50% to 64% of the battery in up to 30 minutes with it. All also wireless charging using the Wireless Charging 2.0 standard.

Wireless charging should also be the same for both phones, maxing out at 15W. One caveat with the iPhone is that only MagSafe chargers can achieve this speed. The only difference in of charging between the S24 and the iPhone 15 will be that the Apple model can only do reverse charging via a USB-C to USB-C cable, while the S24 also features wireless reverse charging. The speed is 4.5W for both.

As far as design is concerned, the Galaxy S24 may surprise you with its new look, featuring flat sides and a more angular screen. As for performance, the powerful processors promise fast and efficient experiences on both devices. Samsung's potential advantage in storage and RAM could be attractive to s who demand more space and multitasking performance. In the camera scenario, while the S24 maintains a reliable triple configuration, the iPhone 15, with its 48MP main sensor, stands out for its image quality.

In Brazil, the Galaxy S24 will cost from R$5.999, with the 128 GB storage model. The device with 256GB of internal storage has a suggested price of R$6.499. The manufacturer, however, has not yet released the official launch date in Brazilian lands.

On Apple's official website, the iPhone is sold from R$7.299 in its most basic version, with 128GB of storage. However, it is possible to find cheaper prices in national stores, such as Magazine Luiza, which offers the device with prices starting at R$5.799.
