What is Film Week? 5a2k5g
Cinema Week is an initiative promoted by National Federation of Cinematographic Exhibition Companies (FENEEC), in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Cinematographic Exhibition Companies and Multiplex Operators (ABRAPLEX), formed by Arteplex, Cineart, Cinemark, Cinépolis, Cinesystem, GNC Cinemas, Moviecom and UCI Cinemas, to provide cheap cinema to all Brazilians.
Created in 2021 as a response to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was created to revitalize the film industry, offering tickets at affordable prices and encouraging the public to return to movie theaters, after a period of decline in the sector.
With successful annual editions, Cinema Week has established itself as an opportunity to have access to cheaper movie tickets, making it possible to watch major productions at reduced prices. In this edition, tickets will cost R$10,00 in the traditional 2D rooms of several participating chains, which will also offer special popcorn and drink combos.
The initiative reinforces the objective of providing a unique cinema experience to a wider audience, in addition to strengthening the connection between viewers and cinema in a safe and engaging environment.

Networks like Cinemark, Kinoplex, UCI, Cinesystem among others associated with ABRAPLEXas the Arteplex, cineart, Cinépolis, GNC Cinemas e moviecom are among the participants of Cinema Week. They will offer promotional tickets that also include sessions in the special IMAX rooms, known for their giant screens, which provide an immersive experience with sharper images and high-quality sound, and also the XPLUS, which stand out for their Dolby Atmos sound and 4K projection.
It is worth ing that it is recommended to check the networks' official website for promotional prices and participating sessions, since, in some cases, even 3D sessions may have cheap tickets.

To purchase online, simply select the “Promotion: Cinema Week” option at the time of purchase. After purchasing, you will need to present the QR Code on your smartphone at the chosen cinema or exchange it for a physical ticket to access the screening room.
It is important to that, when making the purchase online, an additional fee will be applied to the cinema discount, resulting in a value greater than R$10. However, if you make the purchase at a physical box office, there is no fee charged.
